Add nuts, chocolate chips, crackers and more to this simple, hearty snack mix. |

Step-by-Step Instructions |
|
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. |
|
Cook in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat stirring constantly, 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown.

Using a spatula, spread onto ungreased baking sheet to cool.
|
|
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Variations
Peanut Crunch Mix: Prepare mix using 1/3 cup chopped peanuts for nuts; omit cinnamon. Cool completely and toss with mini-pretzels and popcorn.
Dried Fruit Mix: Prepare mix as directed; cool. Toss with chopped dried apricots, dried cherries and raisins.
Summer Fun Snack Mix: Prepare mix as directed; cool. Toss with candy-covered chocolates or chocolate chips and cheese-flavored crackers.
Hold the Nuts Mix: Prepare mix, omitting nuts; cool completely. Toss with toasted oats cereal and chow mein noodles.
