Thanksgiving Tips to Save the Day

1. Just a little short of brown sugar? Have no fear! Simply cream/mix 1-2 tablespoons of molasses and 1 cup of granulated sugar until moist and uniform.

2. Keep homemade yeast breads fresh and moist longer. For each cup of flour add 1 tablespoon of potato flour or instant flakes.

Perfect for Thanksgiving! These feather-light, Parker House Rolls from king Arthur Flour were a 19th-century staple of the Parker House, a famous Boston hotel — the same hotel that in 1855 created the first Boston Cream Pie, serving both rolls and pie to the likes of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
